Two of our apple trees have started to drop fruit. I'm thinking that we will juice the apples, ferment them into hard cider and then distill that into a lovely apple brandy.
I really enjoy your blog. Sometimes I worry for it, though; another blogger I follow was in the habit of announcing her intent to commit "green collar crime" (selling home-grown veggies to neighbors, for example) on her blog, but saying so openly caused the authorities to shut her down.
Maybe a gentle euphemism or two will keep the Bureau of All Things Fun (well, the offshoot that handles the less-fun stuff...they seem to have split in early 2003) from paying attention.
