Usually we get cooked by the sun all summer long. Even with shade and swamp coolers it's just too damn hot. This summer will be different now that I've discovered these $0.70 mini misters that plug directly into 1/4" tubing. I hooked up four of them to my shipping container and immediately saw the steel wall temperature drop from 114.5F to 72F.

What about painting it with ceramic paint? I've never used it myelf -- it doesn't get very hot where I live -- but it's supposed to block upwards of 90% of the heat.

I've heard good things about ceramic paint also. We tried a so-called miracle paint a few years ago and saw no effect.
That's too bad, maybe try again with a different brand. It just seems like it'd be such a good solution for your climate!
