You know a good friend when you are invited to visit and spend several nights and we did while in Co. Last we saw Eric he was using kombucha mother's to patch a pair of gloves. This time we watched him play bike polo - way cool!
Perhaps a way to convey some of their specialness is to share some of the art in their apartment.

Rick. . . do you recall coming a day earlier than you said you were coming? We planned a whole day and night of stuff do with you in spite of it being one of the busiest weeks of our lives. Why couldnt you wait a few hours so I could get through a deadline? We do work you know. We wanted nothing more than to get together with you and it's pained me that you did not stick around and that you came early. Sorry that has been so hard for you to believe.
