Fridge / Fermentation Controller Schematic (in progress...)

Fridge / Fermentation Controller Schematic (in progress...)

I've been working on the schematic for the fridge / fermentation controller. I had no problem tossing in the main components, but things have slowed down now that I need to do a few custom symbols and footprints.

This project looks interesting, but I'm not sure what it does. Do you have an introductory article about it where you talk about the problem you're trying to solve?

It is designed to reduce home refrigeration energy usage by 10x - 20x.

The same device can also be used when fermenting foods such as beer, wine, cheese, yogurt, kombucha, tempeh, kimchi, etc...

Here are some posts describing the device.

Excellent!

I would suggest marketing it to, among other people, "SPIN farming" startups.

I'm mildly interested in their methods, even though I could quibble about some of the choices the organization has made. They incubate urban ag startups, and strongly encourage people to invest in a high-capacity chiller, to harvest some varieties of produce a few days before the Farmer's market. Being able to use a consumer-grade chest freezer, and to have precise temperature control, would be much more cost-effective than what they currently advocate IMHO. The same startups would also be potential customers for fermentation rigs.
