If there's not a large lady bug larvae presence, I usually just wash the aphids off with a powerful hose & my hands. You guys could try that if your suds don't work.
i've used dishsoap mixed with a little olive (or other cooking) oil. put in a large spray bottle and spray every day until they are gone. you probably already realize this but make sure to get the underside of the leaves as well.

Try some Garlic Oil.
