Fruit Trees Flowers

That is a terrible shame about the Apricots. On the good side, it will mean the tree will put away its extra energy into growing stronger, instead of fruit.
I don't know what you can do to avoid this in the future. Aside from erecting a makeshift greenhouse around the tree, which I suspect is impractical even for a dwarf tree.
I live up in Canada and I can tell you from personal experience that many varieties of plums are fairly frost tolerant. If you're considering more fruit trees, perhaps that's an option you can look into.
A native friend says the crows are out and calling a lot which means a particularly chaotic spring. So I think everyone is having a rough March.
Stunning picture of the flowers, will definitely make my day. Keep posting.

I understand Cort Pendu Plat apples bloom ridiculously late, so that they have the nickname "wise apples." In the long run, it might be worth looking into a twig or two of that variety, in case there are more years like this one in store.
Gorgeous pics!
