Another Raised Bed

Our winter greens are still cranking out, but we need some more bed space to start spring planting next month. We had a disastrous pile of wood that needed to be cleaned up so we relocated it and dropped in a new 4x8 bed.

The black is geotextile or a water impermeable material?
It's weed cloth. We have a bermuda grass infestation that will take over our beds if we don't put it down.
the cloth breathes, lets water through. it's a mesh quite like if you weaved cassette tape into a blanket.
