Well my trip to Carson City NV is going quite well. The first talk I gave this morning seemed to land well in the hearts of the kids at the High School. Perhaps I've prevented a new consumer from blossoming? I'd be happy to know that when they hear "Creative Commons" next, the term will be familiar and evoke a positive response.
Carson City is a lovely capital city with many victorian homes. I'm staying in the Bliss Mansion, a grandiose mansion built in the late 1800's, now watched over by a remarkable artist named Cindy.
Tonight I will give another talk at the library and the tour ends with a talk tomorrow morning at a high school and a trip to their favorite thrift shop Classy Seconds and a stop at the Recycled Seconds exhibition which is part of the series of events that hosted my talk.
