
Fence Posts

It has been a gloomy morning with occasional light rain showers. Kind of perfect for going out in the yard and cutting a bunch of square tube steel fence posts. Wendy and I cut all the 20' lengths down to 10' and even started clean and seal them with rustoleum. We still have about twenty more posts to clean and seal. The rain drove us in early.

I had/have never-executed plans for concrete fence posts that might work well in papercrete. The author's were reinforced with rebar and worked well ... basically forever ... in Tennessee. A few molds, some rebar and you're set for life.
On a different note, please post the link to your blog on vermiculture. Thanks.
Last, have you considered using sheet metal ... scrap auto hoods come to mind ... to condense dew and direct the water to garden beds or swales. I'd think you'd get a crop most nights in T or C.
