The Grand Tour
The Grand Tour from Mikey Sklar on Vimeo.Wendy and I recently put together a little tour of the work we have accomplished at our homestead over the last two years. Our friends Jay and Ryanne from RyanIsHungry had sent us a similar video two days ago. Wendy is trying to behave like Ryanne.

Cool video, thanks for doing that Wendy and Mikey! Now I can see how it all fits together.
That 'crazy plant' with purple flowers on the porch is called Gomphrena or globe amaranth and is related to the edible amaranth. It can be dried really easily and keeps its color.
The unknown plant in the back garden under the tree next to the potato is some kind of squash or melon from the leaves.
wow, the place looks great!
I've written a fawning and lusting post about you guys at www.HOMEGROWN.org.
I will be visiting your B&B once I can find myself in NM.
Hey! I ran across your "grand tour" on homegrownevolution, and was excited to find your blog. My partner and I are working on various similar projects in Santa Fe, only we are apartment-dwelling renters so are somewhat limited in scope. I'm blogging, somewhat inconsistently, at whittleddown.blogspot.com
Good luck on all your reckless experimentations!
Hi Libby,
Your Whittled Down blog is really impressive. Especially with a rental situation. I had read that you are actually on your second garden this summer due to landlord issues. It was good for me to see things like your 100' diet, bike commuting (14mi), and a whole bunch of recipes.
